Kenley brings extensive expertise in the electrical and power generation sectors. He is the founder of Arbutus Power Group and three subsidiary companies: Arbutus West Agency Ltd., Acacia Power Solutions, and Fundamental Power Solutions. These companies specialize in delivering optimized engineered power solutions, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of power systems across various industries.
Spencer Tamoto
VP, Operations
Spencer Tamoto is VP of Operations at Fundamental Power Solutions, where he leads operational strategy to support growth across service and rental businesses. He focuses on building scalable systems, improving performance, and aligning operational capabilities with expanding market opportunities. Working closely with leadership, partners, and customers, Spencer helps drive sustainable growth, strengthen service delivery standards, and support the long-term development of the company’s offerings and market presence.
Steven Egeland
Director of Sales - Rentals
Steve brings over 25 years of experience in electrical sales and project management to his role. His extensive career includes leading the BC project division at Wesco, where he successfully managed numerous large-scale infrastructure projects spanning various industries. His expertise and leadership have consistently delivered exceptional results.
Rod Goy
Director of EPR and EV Ready Plan Engineering Projects
Rod brings decades of leadership and technical expertise in electrical systems, education, and industry development. He previously served as Dean of the School of Construction and the Environment at BCIT, where he led academic and applied training programs, supported workforce development, and collaborated closely with industry partners. With a strong ability to bridge technical theory and real-world application, Rod provides deep insight and guidance across complex electrical studies and project environments.
Mihaela Ciulei
Engineering Manager
Mihaela is an experienced engineering leader with over 20 years of expertise in electrical power systems and infrastructure. At Fundamental Power Solutions, she leads Electrical Studies, including Electrical Planning Reports (EPRs) and EV-Ready Plans for strata and commercial clients. With a background spanning substations, switchgear, and energy systems, she provides clear, technically rigorous guidance that helps clients plan for electrification, load growth, and future-ready electrical infrastructure.
Nick Goy
Business Development Manager
Nick brings extensive business development experience focused on critical power services and load bank rental solutions. Works with customers to support UPS maintenance, testing, commissioning, and lifecycle planning for mission-critical facilities. Plays a key role in expanding rental programs, supporting large-scale projects, and developing long-term service strategies. With a strong understanding of operational and technical requirements, he collaborates closely with customers, service teams, and partners to deliver dependable solutions that improve reliability, reduce risk, and support uninterrupted operations across a wide range of industries.
