The K875A-2MW-480 by Fundamental Power Solutions is a rental-duty, transportable resistive load bank designed for electrically load testing or generator auto loading on 480V AC, 60Hz, 3-phase power supplies. It provides 2,000 kW at 480V and supports digital load control with 5 kW resolution. It is housed in a NEMA 3R enclosure and includes internal control power at 480V testing, cooling airflow driven by a 30 HP TEFC motor (approximately 60,000 cfm), and protection features including fan failure and high temperature alarms/lockouts. It can also test 500 kW at 240V 3-phase and 333 kW at 240V 1-phase, but requires an external 3-phase 30A 480V power source at those voltages.
